Former solicitor and teacher Alison Holt has joined Legal Eye as an associate.

Alison has significant experience when it comes to ensuring the necessary legal documentation is correct and compliant, and she brings a wealth of process knowledge to the already strong Legal Eye team.

Before joining our business, Alison worked for three years as an equity release specialist. She has also worked for eight years as a solicitor specialising in employment law, and she is a former teacher, so she is understandably passionate about training and development. Having observed new visiting solicitors, made recommendations for next steps, provided best practice examples to new visiting solicitors, and provided ongoing solicitor mentoring, in her career to-date she has applied all her understanding of learning and improvement to the benefit of the legal sector.

In her new role with Legal Eye, Alison draws upon her varied career to support our clients across our full range of compliance and risk-related services.

Commenting on her new role, Alison said: “I joined Legal Eye as I wanted to use all my experience and knowledge of compliance and training to help law firms better protect against risk. Getting involved in all the available services – from AML Audit & Certification to our Policy Store and our Risk and Compliance Hub – enables me to do this. Being in a partner firm like Legal Eye, rather than in-house, gives me the opportunity to work alongside real compliance experts, and I am using the knowledge learned to make real improvements across the legal sector.”
