At Legal Eye we have been keeping a close eye on the developments of the situation surrounding Coronavirus / COVID-19 and following advice from the Deputy Chief Medical Officer we can confirm that, at present there are no plans to cancel any firm support work unless a specific scenario occurs.
Please be assured that the health and safety of our team and our clients are paramount to Legal Eye and we are taking all steps necessary to ensure business continues as usual.
The Law Society have now released an advice page which is being updated regularly to reflect the most recent guidance.

What we are doing:
We are encouraging our team to do as much work remotely where possible which may mean that you will see less of your Associate.
If you do not already provide remote access for your Associate, we would ask that you consider doing so, even if temporarily to allow for support to be carried out.
Please read our additional procedures for specific situations below:
- Where on-site visits are still taking place, we ask that you inform your Associate in the event that your office temporarily closes as a result of Covid-19 or another situation occurs preventing them from attending on-site support days – where possible we will replace this with an off-site support day unless otherwise agreed.
- Where your Associate is due to be on-site but self-isolating and able to work from home, they will inform you at the earliest possibility and support you remotely where available.
- Where your Associate is unwell and unable to work, we will get in touch and do our very best to cover the work they miss. Our Associates are working closely with their second contacts to ensure continuity of cover for you. As you can appreciate, we may have numerous instances of this over the coming months so where we cannot provide cover, we will look to rearrange the work in the near future.
This is of course an ever-changing situation and we will continue to closely follow guidance from Public Health England and the regulators.
If you have any questions regarding our support in the current situation, please contact your Associate or email [email protected].
