Conveyancing and general compliance. 

What is your background? 

With over 26 years of experience in the property industry and 20 years at senior level, my early career involved training and developing teams of property lawyers. My interest in risk management led to conveyancing compliance where I particularly enjoyed unravelling complicated issues and identifying solutions.

How would you describe your approach to working with clients? 

Excellent communication is the key to a good relationship. With a passion for risk management, I enjoy working with people to help improve processes and procedures. 

What’s the most rewarding thing about your work? 

The legal industry faces constant change so it’s incredibly satisfying to help firms stay ahead of the challenges this brings.  

If you hadn’t become a risk and compliance expert what would you have done instead? 

Either working with animals or aeroplanes!
